- Ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of operating systems, troubleshooting and problem resolution as it relates to systems engineering support.
- This position will interface directly with Customers and other Service personnel in a “First Responder” function to ensure the utmost level of customer satisfaction.
- Carry out activities related to new installations, maintenance, and long-term support of IGT’s gaming systems and software applications.
- As part of a well-established 24x7 global services team you will learn to maintain production infrastructures hosting IGT’s software across multiple platforms
- Must be resourceful and able to problem solve independently but also understand when to escalate to senior staff.
- Responsible for conforming to standardized process and procedures when operating remote connectivity solutions to provide real-time support on production solutions while complying with established rules and regulations.
- Ability to stay current with existing and emerging technologies relevant to the business.
- Ability to acclimate to the customer service principles and work with customers who possess various levels of skill and competency.
- Ability to conduct thorough system analysis.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, recreate reported issues in a lab environment, working towards finding a solution and going through the proper channels to address it in the field.
- Ability to function in a fast paced and demanding work environment.
- Participate in the multiple service-oriented projects involving several major product lines and platforms.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to accomplish specific goals or draft policies and procedures relevant to the Systems Engineering organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with other related organizations (internal and external) to develop solutions as required. Examples of related organizations include (but are not limited to) software engineering, product management, account specialists, product assurance, regulatory agencies and customers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technology-related field (others may be considered).
- 1-3 years of work experience in Systems Engineering, Quality Assurance, Database Administration, IT, or a related engineering support capacity.
- Must be at least 21.
- Working knowledge in the integration, configuration, maintenance, and administration of Microsoft Server infrastructure, virtualization (VMware), operating systems, active directory, applications, and relational databases.
- Knowledge in multiple areas comprising of: Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Network Fundamentals, Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016, virtualization (VMWare/HyperV), SAN, Active Directory, Backup Solutions, AntiVirus, etc.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Private).
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain gaming licensing in all jurisdictions assigned, regardless of personal information required.
- Must be able to pass a credit check.
- Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to obtain a valid international passport.
- Must be able to obtain a corporate credit card.
- Must be able to travel, mostly domestic, some international travel possible (no more than 25%).
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule.
- Experience in Cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure (Microsoft), and Google Cloud Platform.
